Client Overview
Abhimani is a luxury bungalow in Sri Lanka that offers its guests a range of accommodation options. The client asked for a simple website with a luxury feel, one that presents the property with restraint and lets the rooms and surroundings speak for themselves, while giving guests a way to book their stay and a choice of languages to read it in.
The problem
Guests expect a luxury property to feel calm and refined from the first click, and a cluttered or awkward website works against that. The bungalow needed a site that showed its different accommodation options clearly, let guests book, and spoke to visitors in more than one language. Behind the scenes, the owner also needed a simple way to manage the booking calendar without technical help, so that availability stays accurate. And because the photographs carry so much of the impression, they had to look consistent with the luxury theme of the site.
Our Solution
We built the site in Next.js with a simple luxury design in white, soft cream and black, set in Playfair Display for headings and Lato for text. It includes booking features and works in multiple languages. We also built a custom admin dashboard, which lets the client manage the booking calendar easily. Every photograph on the site was taken by professional photographers, and we edited them to match the site’s theme, so that the pictures and the design feel like one piece of work.
